It has to be pink…. And on our trip home from MMP’s Retreat.. we found LOADS of PINK!  Through out this week, I’ll be posting our finds and sharing them with you.  Pottery is my passion next to fabric and the 1950′s Pink Parade was my favorite era!

Along with this wonderful Pink pottery comes a delightful find!  Remember… for me, it has to be PINK!  Buried deep within the antique store were linens of various kinds and poking out was a piece of pink that I snatched out.  Lo and behold it was a Pink Roses apron!  Wonderful delight to find and in great condition!  It holds one pink pocket, sweet abstract pink roses and ties with pink fabric ties.

Hi Everyone!

We’re almost home from our road trip to Colonial Williamsburg, VA!  What a wonderful time.  Here is our BRA Display….  And a WILDLY EXCITED CONGRATULATIONS TO “FORGET ME NOT DREAMS”!

ALL of the displays were VERY, VERY detailed and excellent to view.  I hope you’ll join us next year… we’re already beginning to talk about it!

Wonderful “Pink”

I’m back to the drawing board with new and exciting gifts!  We’re releasing our lace designs and have been digitizing and rinsing lace for a week or so to get it just right.  Our lace bookmarks will be uploaded today in 10 different styles to choose from!

I decided to bring back an old favorite from my art shop… hand painted glass ornaments!  I wasn’t sure if my hand would remain steady enough to make it through the entire process, but I really surprised myself!  My husband was happy to see me painting again…

I display my glass ornaments all through the house in beautiful compote dishes.  I give them as gifts to those who visit and they are excited with them and ask when I’ll paint more to create a collection.  I secretly painted this one late last evening when my sisters weren’t here…. they like to sneak them out of the studio!

Wonderful “Pink” Design!

I don’t know about you, but I was always losing my glasses in my studio because I need them only for distance!  My sister and fellow designer, Fran told me she was going to put a “Clapper” on my glasses!  She sat this weekend and developed a beautiful holder for me to pin to my smock and I’m so excited about this design she created that I wanted to put it up for Monday Show-N-Tell!

Beautiful Roses for My Cards!

My Show~N~Tell is a special one… I mentioned in chat that I was re-doing my entire home in cottage rose and promptly began to shop with my sisters!  I have an old rather extremely BORING office products index card file and never thought to upgrade that as well…

Until Lisa of MMP’s “Pale Pink & Roses” decided to finish a project she had staged for a while and never knew that it was meant for me!  I “sneaked” over to her site while other’s were also “Ooooo’ing and Ahhhh’ing” and SNATCHED it away!

I mean… which box would you rather look at… tell the truth!

I’m Seeing Polka Dots!

WOW…. I’ve really kept the mailman hopping this week!  He says he’s never delivered so many parcels!  I tell him, “It’s my PINK SISTERS!”.  Was I wonderfully surprised to find a parcel hidden on my new porch!  I didn’t even know it was there and thank goodness there was nothing in it to melt!!!

Susie of The Polka Dot Rose has lovingly wrapped in beautiful polka dot cellophane and pink tissue my wonderful order and trimmed it with beautiful hot pink bows and her own printed ribbon!  (I’m collecting your printed ribbons!)

FINALLY!   “I Got One”!  I mean… you have to be FAST on the keys and constantly hawking her site to make it to the shopping cart with money in hand…. I KNOW!  I’ve had SEVERAL ripped away from my clutches in the last couple months before I could click “ADD TO CART!”  But… “I GOT ONE!”

And it came today… along with CHOCOLATES!!! Woo Hoo!!!  And now… I have my eye on a large contingent of them… for she has started something in my home decor she’s not prepared for!  I will NOT say which ones I’m after!  For some wily customer might get them BEFORE I can click “ADD TO CART!”…  But oh…  it’s the reason I’m making extra MAD MONEY… because I’m hooked… and “I GOT ONE!”
